He is never not good. Jesus’ goodness is always present. It is woven into even our worst days. His goodness is not dependent on our feelings or the realities of the situations and circumstances we face. It is simply secure in who He is, which never changes and never fails.
It’s important to understand that His goodness doesn’t minimize the reality of the pain, hardship, or bad things we face, but it’s a promise to hold fast to in the midst of everything we experience.
